I wanted to get some new tank tops and some shorts because I'm going to California on Tuesday and believe it or not I don't even own a pair of shorts lol and I didn't want to wear Jeans to the beach so I stopped by Old Navy and picked these up

Also found these sandals..very cute!

-Maybelline instant age rewind concealer in 'Fair Clair'
-Wet n Wild mega eyes eye liner
-Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio in 'Walking on Eggshells'
-Wet n Wild wild shine nail polish in 'Blazed' and 'Sparkled'

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and thanks for reading :)

DIY Splatter Nails

What you need:
Straws
Tape
Paper Plate
nail polish

Start off with a white base
Next, tape you fingers..do not skip this step! I did and my hands were purple for 2 days lol
Then pour your nail polish on your paper plate. After you have done this dip the straw in the paint for at least 10 seconds and then blow on to nail. I suggest using thinner straws, I think mine were a litte too wide and was a little harder to get onto the nail.
And finally your should have this..of course you can choose any colors this is was for 4th of July :)
There are also so many of these tutorials floating around the internet this is the way I saw it done so I hope it works for you :)
Thaks for reading :)

4th of July Splatter Nails

So I did my nails a little different than I usually do and I really liked them so I thought I would share. I've been seeing some really awesome nail designs floating around the Internet lately and 'Splatter Nails' caught my eye. I have to say they're not as easy to do as they look but for my first time doing them I think they came out OK. I of course did red, white and blue for Independence Day but I'm sure they would look awesome with any colors.

Pure Ice: White
OPI: Red
Sally Hanson: Blue me away

Hope you enjoyed this post and hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July and if you don't celebrate it I hope you had an awesome day! :)
